Please help us to help seafarers and their families.
Since 1821 the Seamen’s Hospital Society has been helping seafarers and maritime organisations working on their behalf. Our role today is to support the health and welfare of seafarers by making grants to seafarers and to the maritime organisations that care for them.
We also support the Seafarers’ Advice and Information Line (SAIL) and the Dreadnought Medical Service, and a range of other health and welfare related initiatives targeting seafarers and their dependants.
Sadly, the need for our help hasn’t gone away and the demands on our funds continue to increase. We want to be able to go on helping as many seafarers as we can - just as we’ve done for the past 200 years.
