Nautilus Welfare Fund
In 2010 the Nautilus Welfare Fund was awarded a grant of £30,000 from the Seamen’s Hospital Society for Mariners Park - a retirement complex for former seafarers and their dependants. It includes a domiciliary care scheme that offers practical support to help elderly residents continue to live in their own homes. |

The Fishermen’s Mission (Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen)
In 2010 the Seamen’s Hospital Society gave the Mission £7,500 for its work with sick and injured fishermen. |

The Physical Initiative – Seafarers’ Fitness Guide
In 2009 and 2010 the Society granted a total of £7,500 to The Physical Initiative to fund the publication of a new fitness guide for serving merchant seafarers.
